  • Macro walk 24-2-17

I went for a quick walk in the garden this afternoon and found a few things to capture with the macro lens

All these are taken with the Nikon D7100 and AF55mm D. 1/200th, f16, iso200. Using onboard flash and diffuser.

Cheers John. I believe they are called "Long Legged Fly"
Unbelievably fast, they can be a source of great frustration trying to photograph them. When the flash fires, by the time the shutter opens they are usually out of the frame. But once in a blue moon you can be lucky
