    I love those little cuties in #1, I don't think I've ever seen a Shelduck before.

      Thanks Ironwood, they really are cute. They're also known as Chestnut-breasted Shelduck, Mountain Duck and Sheldrake. They don't travel to Queensland and only found in the southern half of Australia. Big difference between the male and female.

              Thanks for looking and your comments gentlemen. I guess I'm fortunate to have this lake about 200 metres from my front door. It's a great place to visit and things change there on a daily basis.
